The open-frame (OM) and true-flat (IM) monitors feature a slim design and smooth user interaction ideal for Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications in a wide range of industries, such as smart manufacturing, public transport, healthcare, and retail.

     

    ADLINK’s industrial touch screen monitors have a wide viewing angle feature for outdoor or semi-outdoor use and anti-fingerprint surface treatment to ensure clear visibility under sunlight. Additionally, support for Projected Capacitive (PCAP) 10-point multi-touch enables a smooth, intuitive user experience. These high-durability series are equipped with industrial-grade panels, direct from AUO Display Plus, protected by 7H hardness and IP65-rated front panels to withstand long hours of operating in harsh environments.

     

    The OM series (open-frame) has a wide range of panel sizes (from 10.1” to 43.0”) and is designed for use in embedded display applications. The panels are easily integrated with a variety of systems and applications to bring data visualization to life, with applications including smart factory control panels, automated pharmacy systems, self-service kiosks, public displays, and more.

     

    The IM series (true-flat) is a stand-alone industrial touch monitor which supports a variety of mounting options (wall mount, VESA, and desktop stand), plug-in and ready-to-use design enabling applications in many fields, such as digital menus for retail, passenger information signage for transportation, and infrastructure surveillance.

Featuring Intel R680E chipset and supporting up to 65W, the computers can also incorporate GPU cards in a rugged package suitable for AI inferencing at the Edge, and can be used for but not limited to smart manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, and warehouse applications.

  • Monitoring of Distributed Machines
    Monitoring the condition of machines in the field with compressors, vacuum pumps, motors, bearings, and generators is key to keeping factories up and running smoothy. Traditionally, operators would visit remote machines periodically to perform inspections. However, by the time an abnormality was detected, the machine may have already suffered extensive damage.
    In order to provide constant machine monitoring, a DAQ system composed of an embedded system plus a DAQ card can be deployed at each remote machine site. However, when there are many remote machines spread out geographically, the deployment of DAQ systems at each site becomes prohibitive. The SDAQ-204 is a standalone Ethernet DAQ system that is designed specifically to perform the tasks of a DAQ system without requiring a complicated embedded system.


    Data Filtering at the Edge
    The signals acquired by sensors are raw data that must be filtered and converted into usable data such as FFT, voltage, g-type array, or OA values. The SDAQ-204 standalone DAQ system can be deployed at each field site and perform the task of filtering raw data that was traditionally done by an embedded system. By converting and transmitting filtered, size-reduced data from the edge to a central hub, network load and processing demands on backend servers are reduced dramatically.


    iApp at the Edge
    TThe SDAQ-204 offers flexible support options for custom filtering algorithms written in Python. These valuable and confidential algorithms can be deployed and executed at the device as an iApp through iApp Creator contained in the DAQPilot software package. The SDAQ-204 enables the migration of iApp, user-defined filtering algorithms, to the edge in a cost-effective manner.


    Built-in Web Console
    The SDAQ-204's built-in web console allows configuration via web browser to make it easy to get started with machine condition monitoring and eliminate the need for application specific programming. Settings for relevant parameters and data types are presented in an intuitive dashboard format. The SDAQ-204 makes it quick and easy to set up a machine condition monitoring environment.
